Born and raised in Manaus, the capital of the Brazilian Amazon, Alyssa Assayag has a rich and diverse background, shaped by her Indigenous, Portuguese, and Jewish ancestry. She developed a passion for fashion and modeling at a very young age, drawn to the glamour she discovered through magazine covers, major runway shows, and fashion brand campaigns. Alyssa entered the fashion world at 15, when she was discovered and soon found herself leaving home to pursue her dream — first living in Bahia and later in São Paulo, experiences that helped shape her personal and professional growth before her international move. In her free time, she is self-taught in English, a language she has been fluent in since the age of 15. At 18, she made her first trip to Europe, where she is now ready to bring to life the aspirations and expectations built throughout the years she dedicated to preparing for her runway debut.
